Change the order of the user-defined fields

You can change the order of your user-defined fields within a field category. This has an effect, for example, in the dialog windows for setting, which you can access via the command EDIT USER FIELDS in the context menu of Explorer objects or via the key combination <CTRL>+<U> with the Explorer object selected. Proceed as follows:

1. Select the "Custom fields" icon on the "Configuration" tab. The "Set up user-defined fields" dialog box opens.
2. Select the desired field category and then the "Change field order..." button.
   In the "Change field order" dialog box that appears, you can now use the arrows to specify the order of the selected user-defined fields.
   Select the "Sort alphabetically" button if you want to sort the list of user-defined fields in descending alphabetical order (A-Z).
3. Then close the "Change field sequence" dialog box with "OK" and then select the "Save" button in the "Set up user-defined fields" dialog box.
