Function test" tab
Various function checks for the Portfolio Manager Server are listed here and their current status is displayed.
The colored marking indicates the status of the respective function test. If at least one of the listed tests is red, this means that the server is impaired. In the worst case, the server is not available at all.
When the interface is opened, all function checks are displayed in red. It may take a few minutes for the initial tests to be completed.
Color | Description |
---|---|
Red | The function test has failed or the last successful function test is clearly out of date. |
Yellow | The last successful function test is out of date. |
Green | The function test was successful. |
The function check checks whether certain server components are generally accessible and respond to requests. Not every process is checked individually. Instead, only the basic accessibility of the component as a whole is checked by sending a test call to a random process of this category. The following tests are somewhat more specialized:
- Async
The complete process for an Async request is carried out here. - Event delivery
This checks whether test events run successfully through the system. SOAP/web server interface
Here, a specific request is sent to the web server or application server and the response is evaluated.
Designation | Description |
---|---|
Standard backend | The standard backend component provides most of the functionality of the Portfolio Manager Server. The basic functionality includes the evaluation of templates, MM-Talk, login/logout, explorer display and much more. |
Backend PSI Order Entry | The <Backend PSI Order Entry> component provides ordering for the Infront Advisory Solution. |
Backend PSI Transaction Data | The <Backend PSI Transaction Data> component provides a large part of the functional scope of PSI Transaction Data as part of the server. |
Backend Async/Document | The <Backend Async/Document> component provides the functionality for the asynchronous processing of templates and document management. |
JobControl | Center for processing the jobs that are provided in the server. This applies to alerting, batch export, etc. In addition, asynchronous evaluations are controlled via this control center. |
Async | Checks the complete processing chain of an async evaluation. An error here means that one or more of the components involved are not functioning correctly. |
Event delivery | Checks the event delivery via the message queue. |
SOAP interface | Checks the SOAP interface. An error here means that the document archive functionality for Infront Portfolio Manager clients is at risk. This error can also affect the Infront Advisory Solution. |
Web server interface | Checks the functionality of the web server interface. An error here means that the Infront Advisory Solution cannot be used. |
To suspend the function checks, activate the "Suspend function check" checkbox at the bottom of this tab. The status icons of the individual function checks all change to red and the function checks are no longer carried out as long as the checkbox is activated.
