Assign portfolio versions to portfolio profiles

Module "Portfolio Service Extended Portfolio Analysis"

Proceed as follows, for example, to assign a portfolio profile to a portfolio version:

1. Right-click on the portfolio in the Explorer and select the PROPERTIES command in the context menu that appears.
2. In the "Portfolio properties" dialog box, first select the desired portfolio version in the version history.
3. Then select the desired profile key from the "Profile key" selection list. If this profile key is assigned to a portfolio profile, the name of the portfolio profile appears next to the selection list.
   

   

   
   
   
   

   To view the settings of this portfolio profile without leaving the "Portfolio properties" dialog box, click on the linked portfolio profile name. Changes to the settings are not possible in this mode. To edit portfolio profiles, select the PORTFOLIO PROFILE command in the "Manage objects" icon menu on the "Data maintenance" tab. You can edit the properties in the dialog box that appears.

   The settings stored in this portfolio profile are applied to all data fields of the portfolio version that are not already filled.

   Beispiel:

   An individual reporting frequency is already set in the portfolio version, but no benchmark has been set yet. The version then receives the benchmark from the portfolio profile, but its reporting frequency, which may differ from the portfolio profile, remains unchanged.

4. Close the "Portfolio properties" dialog box and confirm the assignment of the portfolio profile with "OK".
