Set or change password in Infront Portfolio Manager

Certainly not everyone should have access to your personal data (such as your current assets) and settings. You can therefore protect the Infront Portfolio Manager with a password.

The password is then requested and checked each time the Infront Portfolio Manager is started. You must also enter the user name. The program can only be started if both entries match.

  1. Select the CHANGE PASSWORD command on the "Configuration" tab. The "Change password" dialog box opens.
  2. Enter the previous password in the "Old password" field. Leave the field empty if you have not used a password before.
  3. Enter a new password of your choice in the "New password" field.
  4. Repeat the new password in the "Confirm new password" field. This is a safety measure. It will only be saved if both passwords match - otherwise you will have to enter the password again.
  5. Confirm the entry with "OK".
    The (new) password is now valid.
