Overwrite existing files

All exported files are saved by default. If a file with the same name already exists in the target folder, the new file is given a name extension, e.g. "(1)". During configuration, however, you can select whether previously exported files with the same name should be overwritten. Activate the "Overwrite existing files" checkbox:

If a file with the same name exists in the output directory, it will be overwritten with this setting.

If the file name contains a timestamp, this is taken into account: If, for example, a file with this name is created in the same minute as the minute specified in the name, then (and only then) this file will be overwritten.

Please note that this setting does not apply to files saved in the document archive . These cannot be overwritten.
