Move objects to another zone

You can move objects to other zones in the Infront Portfolio Manager - depending on the rights you have, of course.

Proceed as follows:

1. Select the command MOVE OBJECTS TO ANOTHER ZONE on the "Data maintenance" tab in the ribbon.
2. Drag and drop the objects to be moved into the left-hand input field "Objects to be moved" in the dialog box that appears or search for the objects using the magnifying glass icon. Possible objects are owners, groups, folders, filters and limit folders. The subordinate structures (e.g. accounts and securities accounts) are also moved.
   

   

3. In the "New zone" selection list at the top right, select the zone to which the selected objects are to be moved.
4. Activate the "Rename objects if name assigned" checkbox if you do not want to overwrite objects with the same name in the new zone.
5. Start the transaction with the "Move" button.

The objects are moved to the new zone. Your Infront Portfolio Manager will provide you with details in the "Messages" field.
