Create new folders

You can get a good overview of securities by grouping different types of securities together. There are three ways to do this in the Infront Portfolio Manager:

  • The summary of securities in a manually created folder.
  • The automatic grouping of securities via filters.
  • The short-term grouping of securities (or other objects) in the filing system.

Some folders are already created in the Infront Portfolio Manager. The creation of a new folder is explained below.

  1. Right-click on the folder under which you want to create a new folder.
  2. In the context menu of this folder, select the command NEW, FOLDER and assign a name for the folder in the dialog box that appears and confirm this with "OK". The new folder is automatically created with the selected name.
  3. To change the name of the folder, highlight the name and select the RENAME command in the context menu.
