Manually assign user-defined security names

You can use the master data dialog to manually assign a so-called "display name" to a security and specify that this is not overwritten by data import and comparison with subsequent recalculation. Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the master data of the security - e.g. via the PROPERTIES command in the context menu of the security in the Explorer.
  2. Enter the desired name in the "Display name" field on the first "Characteristics" tab in the "Master data" dialog box.
  3. Activate the "Custom display name" checkbox.
  4. Close the "Master data" dialog box with "OK".
The display name defined in this way is now primarily used for the name of the security in the Infront Portfolio Manager.
