Control messages by e-mail

To send control messages about the data update by e-mail, proceed as follows:

1. Activate the "Send control messages as e-mail" checkbox.

2. Enter your mail server in the "Mail server" input field and the SMTP port of your mail server (usually 25) in the "Mail port" input field.

3. Enter the e-mail addresses of the addressee(s) in the "Recipient" field.

Here you can enter several e-mail addresses and edit them using the "Replace", "Add" and "Delete" buttons.

1. If you would also like to change the default e-mail address of the e-mail sender, activate the "Set sender e-mail address" checkbox and enter the desired e-mail address in the input field below.

2. Then specify in the "Content of control messages" field whether you want to receive information (these appear in the e-mails as "Notes"), warnings or error messages.

3. You can start a test run using the "Test" button.

4. Confirm the settings with "OK".
