Installation and database

The installation of the Infront Portfolio Manager is carried out via the program DVD or the service team of , a download of the Infront Portfolio Manager is also possible.

The program version is a 64-bit version of the Infront Portfolio Manager. With version 6.00, development was also switched completely to the more modern Delphi 10 development environment.

These important innovations bring numerous improvements for you as a customer, as there are no longer any restrictions on the use of RAM, for example. This achieves significant performance improvements in calculations or when importing data.

The changeover is also the reason that the version is installed in parallel independently of older installations of the Infront Portfolio Manager (before version 5.50). It is then possible to transfer the data from the "older" database to the new database directly after installation or at a later date at any time using the database tool.

Hinweis zu Oracle-Datenbanken

To use the Infront Portfolio Manager from version 5.50, the 64-bit version of the Oracle client must be used when using Oracle databases.

The use of container databases is not supported. If you are using Oracle 12c, make sure that the "Create as container database" checkbox is deactivated during configuration:
