Create owner using the owner wizard
With the integrated owner assistant, you can easily create the optimum structure for your portfolio management.
To create holders and their portfolios, accounts and custody accounts using the wizard, proceed as follows:
On the "Data maintenance" tab, select the INHABER-ASSISTANT command in the "Create objects" icon menu and follow the wizard's instructions.
The holders and the associated accounts and securities accounts are created in the Explorer in the "Securities account management" folder. If no folder with this name exists, it will be created automatically.
In addition, the holder's workspace opens directly with the worksheet for recording transactions so that you can "populate" your securities account with the desired securities straight away. If necessary, read the chapters Workspaces and Enter transactions.
To create holders and their portfolios, accounts and custody accounts using the wizard, proceed as follows:
- First select a folder in Explorer under which the owner should appear, e.g. the "Depotmanagement" folder.
- On the "Data maintenance" tab, select the INHOLDER ASSISTANT command in the "Create objects" icon menu.
The owner assistant appears. - Click on the "Next" button to go to the next page. Enter the desired name for the holder here.
- Click on the "Next" button to go to the next page, or click on "Back" to return to the initial page of the Owner Assistant. On the next page, enter the holder's master data (e.g. information on church tax or the saver's lump sum).
- Click on the "Next" button to go to the next page. If you have activated the "Married" checkbox, a page will next appear on which you can enter master data for the owner's spouse. If the "Married" checkbox is deactivated, the page is skipped.
- Select the "Next" button and enter the master data of the associated account (account number, bank, currency and name) on the next page.
In the "Name" field, the Infront Portfolio Manager automatically suggests an account name (after selecting a bank). You can overwrite this name with a name of your choice. - On the next page, enter the master data of the associated securities account (e.g. securities account number and bank).

You can overwrite this name with a name of your choice. - On the next page, select whether you would like to assign further accounts and custody accounts to this holder. To do this, activate the corresponding option and confirm your selection with the "Next" button.
- If you do not wish to assign any further accounts and securities accounts, the last page of the holder wizard appears. If you close this with the "Finish" button, the owner and associated accounts and securities accounts are created in the Explorer in the "Securities account management" folder. If no folder with this name exists, it will be created automatically.
In addition, the holder's workspace opens directly with the worksheet for recording transactions so that you can "populate" your securities account with the desired securities straight away. If necessary, read the chapters Workspaces and Enter transactions.
However, if you have activated the "Create additional account and securities account" option, you will have to go through the input pages for the account and securities account master data again until you have created all the desired accounts and securities accounts.
