Owner Migration Assistant
Use this wizard to merge several owners into one. All accounts, custody accounts and portfolios of the affected holders are completely migrated to one holder.
This migration cannot be reversed.
To merge owners and their accounts, securities accounts and portfolios using the wizard, select the INHOLDER MIGRATION ASSISTANT command in the "Create objects" icon menu on the "Data maintenance" tab and follow the wizard's instructions.
- On the "Data maintenance" tab, select the INHOLDER-MIGRATION-ASSISTANT command in the "Create objects" icon menu.
The owner migration assistant appears. - Click on the "Next" button to go to the next page.
- Select the owners to be migrated on this page. Click on the search icon to the right of the display area to search for and add the owners using the familiar object search.
You need at least two owners for a migration. To delete a holder from the list again, select it and press the <ENTF> button. - After selecting all the owners to be migrated, click on the "Next" button to go to the next page and click on "Back" to return to the initial page of the owner migration wizard.
- Use the selection list on this page to specify the target owner from the previously selected owners. All portfolios, accounts and custody accounts are migrated to this target holder.
- The "Next" button takes you to the last page of the wizard, where you can finally specify what should happen to the "emptied" holders.
If you activate the "Transfer owner to portfolios" checkbox, all migrated owners are created as portfolios under the target owner. As far as possible, existing holder master data is transferred to the new portfolio master data.
The "emptied" holders remain without accounts and securities accounts. Activate the "Delete 'emptied' holders" checkbox if you want these holders to be deleted automatically after the migration. - Select the "Finish" button to complete the migration and close the owner migration wizard.
The target owner is available immediately after closing this wizard.
