Export translation memories

You can export the translation memories in order to import them into other programs or back into the Infront Portfolio Manager for further editing. The XLIFF, TMX and CSV formats are available. XLIFF and TMX are XML-based standards that contain all metadata and are compatible with the familiar translation tools.

Proceed as follows to export a translation memory opened in the "Edit translation memories" dialog box:

1. Select the EXPORT... command in the main menu of the "Edit translation memories" dialog box.
2. Then specify the folder and file name in the "Export" dialog box that appears and select the desired file type.

3. Complete the export with the "Save" button.

When exporting and importing TMs, make sure that the languages of TM and Infront Portfolio Manager match.

Example: The best way to export and import English reports is with English versions of the Infront Portfolio Manager.
