Edit order sessions

"PSI Order Entry" module or "Portfolio Service Investment Agent" module or "Portfolio Service Rebalancing" module

To edit an order session, you need the "Edit session" system right. If necessary, read the chapter User administration.

Proceed as follows to edit the status of a saved order session:

  1. Select the "Order book" icon on the "Ordering" tab.
  2. In the "Order book" dialog box that appears, select the desired session from the list of order sessions and then select the "Edit selected session" icon.
  3. Make the changes for the order session in the "Edit session" dialog box that appears. The name and status of the sessions can be edited. Please refer to the following table for details.
  4. Close the "Edit session" dialog box with "OK".

You will find the following information in the "Edit session" dialog box:

Name

The name of the saved order session. You can edit the name here, but a name must always be entered.

Date and time of the first storage.

Created by

"Infront Portfolio Manager" user who created the order session.

Status

Select the desired order session status here. The "Status" selection list contains the following entries:

  • Planned
  • In progress
  • Blocked
    This status is only available if you have licensed the "Block order sessions" module. An order session is then automatically blocked when a user opens the "Prepare collective order" dialog box. If the dialog box is closed, the lock is removed. A blocked order session cannot be deleted or edited. However, users with the system right "Configure PSI Order Entry" can change the status manually here.
  • Closed
    Order sessions with the order session status "Closed" are no longer displayed in the order book and in portfolio rebalancing by default.
    Please note that these order session statuses must be distinguished from the order statuses of the individual orders.

"Infront Portfolio Manager" user who last changed the order session.

Order status
(list on the right-hand side of the dialog box)

You will find the following classification in the list of order statuses:

  • Unknown
  • Planned
  • The "Planned" status here includes the order statuses "Planned" and "Deleted".
  • In progress
  • The "In process" status here includes the order statuses "Released", "Open", "Sent", "Accepted" and "Error".
  • Closed
  • The "Closed" status here includes the order statuses "Executed", "Canceled", "Expired", "Closed" and "Rejected".
    Click on the small plus signs in the "Status" column to open the list of orders with the total number and number of visible orders with the respective order status.

Total number of orders
(all zones)

The total number of orders in this order session.

Total number of orders
(visible zones)

The total number of orders visible to the logged-in "Infront Portfolio Manager" user for this order session.

If this number differs from the "Total number of orders (all zones)", orders for this order session are in zones that are not activated for this user.
