The "Target market profiling (portfolio)" evaluation

This evaluation lists the respective securities profile of the target market for the securities in a portfolio as well as the comparison with the investment profile of the portfolio. You will find the evaluation for portfolios in the "Portfolio management" template category.

In the open workspaces of Portfolios, you will find the evaluation on the worksheet "Compliance", "Target market profiling".

The "Target market profiling (portfolio)" report has the following columns:

  • Loss-bearing capacity
  • Investment objective
  • Special requirements
  • Risk indicator
    (from 7 risk classes on a VaR basis analogous to the PRIIPS Regulation on the basis of the Synthetic Risk and Reward Indicator "SRRI")
  • Distribution channel
  • Investment horizon
  • Knowledge/Experience
  • Customer category
  • Risk/return
  • Sustainability preferences
  • Total share pursuant to the Disclosure Regulation
  • Total share according to taxonomy regulation
  • PAI consideration according to ESG categories

Name

The name of the respective security.

The table is grouped according to this column.

Portfolio investment profile

In this column you can see the corresponding values from the investment profile of the portfolio from the profiling process.

Securities profile
[Positive target market]

In this column you can see the individual characteristics of the respective target market category for the securities, e.g. "Risk class 5" for the risk assessment or "Investment advice" for the sales channel.

Securities profile
[Negative target market]

In this new column you can see the individual characteristics of the respective target market category for the negative target market for the securities concerned.

Beispiel

A security with the value "retail client" in the negative target market is not suitable for retail clients.


As long as the negative distributor target market cannot yet be configured in the target market service, this column remains empty.

Target market profiling

Here you can see the comparison of the security assessment with the investment profile of the portfolio. Possible values here are "Yes", "No", "Partly" and "n/a".

The comparison result is shown in the column as follows:


If the customer is rated higher than the security, the symbol for the value "Partial" appears.

Filter the column by the value "No" and save the evaluation as a table template for an alert definition in order to monitor the target market matching in Infront Portfolio Manager via alerting.
