Customize "Open template" dialog box

This is initially grouped by category. Click on the plus sign in front of the category to open the list.

You can change the view in dialog windows of this type. The options are described below. The changes are retained until the end of the program, but are not saved.

Click on the arrow in the "Designation" heading. A menu of all designations opens. Here you can jump to the template you are looking for by entering the first letters.

You can also jump to an element in any open list by entering the initial letters. Press <CTRL>+<RETURN> to find the next hit.

Grouping

You can group the elements according to all properties shown in the table (column headings). Multi-level groupings are also possible. Similar to an outline, you can group related areas together.

  1. To group the elements according to a property, drag and drop the relevant column heading into the upper gray area of the dialog window.
  2. If necessary, drag the original heading back into the table. The initial grouping is then dissolved.
  3. To display or hide the elements contained in the group, you can expand the group headings by clicking on the plus sign (left) or collapse them by clicking on the minus sign.

Sort

Click on the column header to sort the elements in the list in ascending or descending order. You can also sort several columns.

Filter templates

You can also filter the elements using the arrow on the right in the column header. For example, you can easily display only templates of the "Chart" type.

  • Filtering only works via the column headings.
  • You can also link several filter conditions together. To do this, enter the conditions one after the other.
  • The active filtering is displayed at the bottom of the table. Click on the
    Cross to cancel the filtering.

In the list of selection options, you will find a "Custom" command that you can use to narrow down the selection even further.
