After installing the database - as described in the previous section - a database update is always carried out to bring the database up to date.
You can start a database update at any time using the INSTALLATION, DATABASE UPDATE command in the main menu of the database tool.
To carry out a database update, all users must first be logged out of the database so that the database can be accessed exclusively.
For this reason, ongoing change tracking must be stopped before a database update and restarted after the update has been completed. This is usually done automatically, but we strongly recommend checking the status after a successful update. You can reactivate change tracking manually directly in the database tool if necessary.
