Import files

ASCII files that comply with the prescribed format (see Structure of the files) can be read into the Infront Portfolio Manager. Proceed as follows:

1. To do this, on the "Data maintenance" tab, select the IMPORT FILE command in the menu of the "Data update" icon.
   The "Import files" dialog box appears, in which all files that can be imported are initially displayed.
2. To display ASCII files with the file extension ".txt", change the file type to "Text files".
3. Select the files to be imported and confirm with the "Open" button.

You should not close the Infront Portfolio Manager before the import has been completed. As soon as the import is complete, a message window will appear on your screen.
