Create template and object zones

Proceed as follows to create a new zone:

1. Select the FILE, NEW, TEMPLATE ZONE or FILE, NEW, OBJECT ZONE command in the main menu.
   As each zone must be assigned to a domain, you must select a domain directly when creating the zone using the "Select domain for new object" dialog box that appears and confirm with "OK".
   

   

   
   You can also move the created zone to another domain later.
2. Then give the zone a name on the right-hand side of the workspace and assign sub-zones to it if necessary. For details, read the following section Edit objects.
3. Save the entries using the FILE, SAVE command or the "Save" button in the toolbar.

Object zones cannot be created in the <public> domain.
