You can assign custody accounts and accounts to a holder's portfolios as you wish.
Proceed as follows to configure portfolios:
In Explorer, select the command INHOLDER, CONFIGURE PORTFOLIOS in the context menu of the holder. Or alternatively, select the command PORTFOLIO, CONFIGURE PORTFOLIOS in the context menu of the portfolio in Explorer.
Then assign the desired securities accounts and accounts to the holder's portfolios in the "Configure portfolios" dialog box. To do this, simply drag and drop them onto the name of the portfolio in the left-hand window.
Please note that the securities accounts and accounts may not be included in other portfolios at the same time - not even indirectly via the allocation of accounts to securities accounts.
To move securities accounts, the user logged in to Infront Portfolio Manager must have the "Edit master data of a securities account object" object right.
For details on user administration, please read the chapter User administration.
You can also use these icons to create new portfolios and delete portfolios directly in the "Configure portfolios" dialog box.
You can also find these commands - CREATE PORTFOLIO and DELETE PORTFOLIO - in the context menu of selected portfolios in the preview window.
Alternatively, you can also use the <INF> key to create portfolios and the <ENTF> key to delete portfolios.
Enter a name in the "Name" input field.
Click on the "Properties" button to open the "Properties" dialog box for the selected securities account object, in which you can edit the master data of the selected securities account object.
The following information is displayed in the "Conflicts" area:
Number of accounts that are in multiple portfolios
Number of standard settlement accounts that are outside the respective portfolio
Number of cross-portfolio transactions
Number of cross-portfolio order book entries
Check and correct the conflicts if necessary. If, for example, there are accounts in several portfolios, the dialog box cannot be closed with "OK" and the configuration cannot be saved.
Close the "Configure portfolios" dialog box with "OK".
When deleting portfolios via the "Configure portfolios" dialog box, please note that the portfolios are permanently deleted once you have confirmed the security prompt that appears.
