Comments on master data fields

Many of the master data fields will be familiar to you or are self-explanatory. However, there are always changes and extensions that become necessary, e.g. in the course of legislative changes (e.g. flat-rate withholding tax). Please refer to the following table for important explanations of some fields:

Field

Description

DEWKN, OEWKN, ISIN, security number

If you have manually entered data in these so-called "key fields" in the securities master data, this data will not be deleted when data is imported from the Market Data Pool. Changes to a non-empty stand, on the other hand, are always enforced.

Amount order preference

For rebalancing and reallocation, amount orders for certain security types (usually funds) can be set automatically as the global default. You can also use this checkbox on the "Characteristics" tab to save any individual settings for individual securities in the securities master data. The setting made here then has priority.

If necessary, please also read the section Amount orders.

ZIV-relevant

Use it to identify bonds and funds if control notifications on interest income in this category are required for customers in other EU countries (from a German perspective) in accordance with the Interest Information Regulation (EU Interest Directive).

Country of origin

Master date for funds, as the master date "Country" is interpreted as the investment region here. This information is important in order to be able to take into account the special regulations for foreign accumulating funds, for example.

Special funds

Labeling of funds as so-called millionaire funds, as these are not protected if they were acquired after 9.11.2007.

WM-Name

In addition to the security name, you will also find this input field directly below it in the master data. The WM name is an alternative designation of the data service of the publishing association WERTPAPIER-MITTEILUNGEN Keppler, Lehmann GmbH & Co. KG.

You can enter this name using the MM-Talk function NameWM function and insert it into securities lists, for example.

Read the chapter of the same name for further WM data .

New share

This field in the subscription right master data is recorded as a security object. Price quotations are not permitted.

Version

[Option master data]

The "Version" master data can be found on the "Advanced" tab of the master data option. Each standard option series traded at Eurex has the version number 0. In the event of a capital change, the version number of an existing option series increases by 1.

Generation

[Option master data]

The "Generation" master data can also be found on the "Advanced" tab of the master data option. The generation number basically indicates to which generation of an option series with the same equipment features this option belongs. If new option series with the same equipment features are launched, the generation number is increased by one.
