Create and edit libraries

In this section, you will learn how to create, edit and, if necessary, delete libraries.

Create libraries
  1. Open a formula editor in macro mode, e.g. via the command NEW, FORMULA-MACRO in the menu of the "Template" icon on the "Configuration" tab in the ribbon of the Infront Portfolio Manager.
  2. Switch to the "Libraries" tab.
  3. Open the context menu in the "Available libraries" field and select the CREATE NEW LIBRARY command.

A new library is created and added to the list of available libraries.
Edit libraries
  1. Open a formula editor in macro mode, e.g. via the command NEW, FORMULA-MACRO in the menu of the "Template" icon on the "Configuration" tab in the ribbon of the Infront Portfolio Manager.
  2. Switch to the "Libraries" tab.
  3. In the "Available libraries" field, select the library that you want to edit. Open the context menu with the right mouse button and select the EDIT command.

The "Formula library properties" window appears.
  4. Enter a meaningful name in the "Name" field.
  5. If necessary, specify the desired primary zone and the secondary zones (using the "Add..." and "Remove" buttons) for this library. Please also read the chapter User administration in your administration manual.
  6. Confirm your settings with "OK".
Delete library
  1. Open a formula editor in macro mode, e.g. via the command NEW, FORMULA-MACRO in the menu of the "Template" icon on the "Configuration" tab in the ribbon of the Infront Portfolio Manager.
  2. Switch to the "Libraries" tab.
  3. In the "Available libraries" field, select the library you wish to delete. Open the context menu with the right mouse button and select the DELETE command.

The deletion of a library cannot be undone. When deleting, all macros that are still present in the library are also deleted. This can render other formulas and macros that access these macros unusable.
