Configure amount order preference for security types

You can configure global amount orders for certain security types (e.g. funds and/or certificates) as the standard for portfolio rebalancing (rebalancing and reallocation).

The prerequisite for this configuration is the system right "Configure amount orders for security types".

Proceed as follows to pre-assign amount orders as standard for security types:

  1. Select the CONFIGURE ORDER PREFERENCE command on the "Configuration" tab in the "Ordering" icon menu in the ribbon.
  2. In the "Configure amount order preference" dialog box that appears, activate the checkboxes for the security types that are to be treated as amount orders by default in portfolio rebalancing.
  3. Finally, confirm your configuration with "OK".
Orders of the selected security types are now treated as amount orders in portfolio rebalancing.

You can "override" this global configuration for individual securities via their master data. Read the section Configuring order preferences for individual securities.

You can also define an individual configuration based on MM-Talk. Read the following section .
