Create user

Proceed as follows to create a new user:

1. Select the FILE, NEW, USER command in the main menu.
   As every user must be assigned to a domain, you must select a domain directly when creating the user using the "Select domain for new object" dialog box that appears and confirm with "OK".
   You can also move the created user to another domain later.
2. Then enter a name for the user on the right-hand side of the user administration workspace and assign roles, password and rights to the user. For details, read the following section Edit objects.
3. Save the entries using the FILE, SAVE command or the "Save" button in the toolbar.

Creating a user in the <public> domain is usually only really useful for administration access, as these users cannot be granted rights to object zones. If such a user of the <public> domain has the "Start Infront Portfolio Manager" right, they will only ever see their private objects there (e.g. in Explorer).
