Interim profits from orders are taken into account in the valuation in the same way as prices. It is possible to use interim profit data from the course system that is older than 8 days. If necessary, please also read the section Securities account settings - Asset valuation.
To prevent the dates of prices and associated interim profits from being too far apart, interim profits may not be more than 8 days older than the associated price.
This restriction is a compromise. Interim profits should actually be available on all days for which prices are available. Otherwise it could happen, for example, that a post-distribution price is offset against a pre-distribution interim profit.
