Open evaluations
Performing evaluations and displaying the results (portfolio calculations, securities charts, tables, reports, etc.) is a central task of the Infront Portfolio Manager. Such an evaluation essentially consists of two components:
Input objects and templates
- Input objects are holders, portfolios, securities, folders, etc.
- The template defines the structure of the evaluation and contains both the visual characteristics of the evaluation (e.g. background color or font) and the content to be displayed (e.g. time period, currency, columns, indicators).
Beispiel 1
For an asset overview, input objects of the "Owner" type are linked to the "Asset overview" template. Double-clicking on a holder - e.g. on the holder "Mustermann" - in the Explorer opens their workspace with the asset overview in the foreground.
Beispiel 2
For a simple chart evaluation, input objects of the type "Security" are linked to the "Chart Standard" template. Double-clicking on a security in the Explorer opens its workspace with the "Chart Standard" in the foreground.
As many objects - especially securities - cannot be found in the Explorer, we recommend using the object search to open the workspace of an object with the most important evaluations:
- Click on the icon to the left of the search field and select the desired object type from the list, e.g. depot objects.
- Enter the name, part of the name or the customer number of an owner in the search field to the right.
- Confirm with <RETURN>. The "Object search" dialog box appears with, for example, a list of the owners found.
- Double-click to select the holder you are looking for from the list. The owner's workspace is opened with the "Assets" worksheet and the assets overview in the foreground.
