Set up change tracking in the main program

You must set up change tracking (once). Proceed as follows:

  1. Start the database tool in the Windows Start menu via the <Database tool> command.

  2. In the main menu of the database tool, select the command INSTALLATION, SET UP CHANGE TRACKING...

  3. In the login dialog that appears, log in as a user who has the "Configure change log" system right.

Change tracking is set up. A corresponding message window appears. If change tracking has already been set up, a message window will also inform you.
