Working with portfolio versions

A number of important properties of portfolios are historicized. They range from investment guidelines and reporting settings to the assignment of advisors. The validity of a corresponding version of the portfolio properties refers to all fields (data records) at the same time.

The "Historicized properties" section is available in the "Portfolio properties" dialog box. Below this is a table with a list of all versions - the version history. The data record selected in the "Version history" table is displayed in the "Historized properties" area.

How exactly the versions are used in a portfolio depends on the individual user requirements. For example, it is possible to map the changes to a customer's IC contract over the years with versions.
