Exchange security retroactively

In Infront Portfolio Manager it is possible to replace a specific security with another security for all orders under a holder.

Only one security can be exchanged for a security of the same currency and type.

Use this functionality with due caution for obvious reasons.

To carry out such an exchange of securities retroactively, proceed as follows:

1. In the holder's workspace, switch to the "Entry" tab in the "Transactions" area.

2. 

   Select the "Swap security retroactively" icon here.
   The "Swap security retroactively" dialog box appears.
   

   

3. In the selection list on the left in the "Old security" field, search for the security to be exchanged among all of the holder's securities.
   You will then receive more detailed information (WKN, ISIN) on the selected security in the dialog box. You can also see the number of transactions affected.
4. Search for the new security in the "New security" field on the right.
   Infront Portfolio Manager will also inform you about the security in more detail in the dialog box.
5. Select the "Swap security" button.
   The new security now replaces the old one in all of the holder's orders.
