Once you have created a holder and at least one account under this holder, you can open the actual securities custody account. All purchases and sales are later managed there.

As securities transactions usually also involve cash movements, each custody account must be assigned a standard settlement account in which these cash movements are tracked. You can find out how to assign an account to your securities accounts in the section Assign accounts to securities accounts.

A securities account can only be assigned to one portfolio at a time.
